PANELLED DOORS

Components used to construct our doors have been standardise by our technical design team to allow us to manufacture a variety of robust door styles with a sleek finish. All of our external doorsets arrive on-site pre-hung. We ensure that all the correct tolerances between the door and frame are made prior to delivery, this is a great way to save time with installation.

BOARDED DOORS

Traditional ledged and braced solid timber framed doors with modern tongue and groove boarding. Traditionally this timber boarded, ledged and braced door was commonly used as garage or side entrance door. Over the years the industry has adopted them and made them into a feature creating a stylish and contemporary front entrance doors. The ledge and brace elements form the integrity of the door and create a solid frame in which the tongue and groove boarding is applied either side to create a seamless appearance.

This 88mm section type has the capability of producing any conceptual design which gives the highest level of security, trickle ventilation, weather and thermal performance. All windows are factory fitted with Espagnollette Locking Systems, Friction Hinges and top quality ironmongery that also can offer a fire safety option. This allows us to provide a wide range of combinations including Top hung, Side hung, Fixed and Direct configurations. The entire range can be manufactured to suit any requirements to your design.

SLIDING SASH WINDOW

The traditional timber sliding sash window has been around for decades and is a conservationist’s preferred type of window. Commonly seen in Stately homes the sliding sash window has been adapted by many new build developments over the years. Our beautifully crafted windows incorporate an economical spring balanced method of operation as opposed to the traditional lead weighted sashes of the old age. At AJB group we strongly believe that joinery must move with the times and with strict guidelines set by the building regulations, many of the traditional aspects have been modernised. Simple and elegant glazing bars are now used to create the traditional appearance of multiple cross bars allowing the usage of double and triple glazed units. All of our sliding sash windows have been enhanced to incorporate a full weather protection and draught proof system.

PIVOT WINDOW

Based on the PN UNI Projecting system, this robust system has been designed with multi-storey public and commercial buildings in mind, including hotels. Equally suitable for high-rise domestic applications, the hardware solution is ideal for situations in which safe control of the opening is necessary.

The UNI range can achieve emergency escape (providing that all relevant building regulations are met). Adjustable friction is built into the Projecting top and side hung variant for flexible control of opening. The sash and frame detail are the same for all window PN UNI variants, allowing styles to be fitted without changing profile. This ensures a uniform aesthetic appearance on all window styles.
